West coast winters

Okay, I should tell you about the weather we've had in Whistler in just this past week cuz its just too funny: sunny/cold/dry-the mountain is bullet proof so dont bother going unless you have amazingly sharp edges on your board and you dont mind seeing major carnage, can't dig cuz the ground is frozen, but trails are grippy and awesome, snow flurries with some of the biggest flakes I've ever seen-get on your snowboard and shred,freezing rain to 2 inches of shear ice coating everything you can imagine-hacking your windshield of your ice cubed truck and your lucky if you make it to work alive, warm, pouring rain and melting all the ice/snow-mountain is turning to mud, get out on your bike and get dirty, cloudy and warm with sunny periods-go jib the terrain park on your board cuz its like spring, ride trails or dig.
Hey, Im not complaining. At least it keeps it exciting. Of course I dream of summer from time to time but life ain't that bad when your major worry for the day is wether you should go ride your bike or shred the mountain. Even if the conditions suck, if your with your friends you can still have fun.
And this morning I heard them bombing like mad up there which means that we got loads of snow up top and people are saying its the best day of the year so far. So what am I doing in front of the computer..........later.
