Ripping in Pemby mixed with a little bit of tarding.....

Its about minus 35 with the windchill on the mountain these days. Not to mention blue ice. Yeah, no thanks! But the cold clear days and nights have sucked the moisture right out of the ground and the conditions in Pemberton right now are AMAZING. The trails are as good as they get. The ground is cold and dry which makes for fast and tacky riding.
The plan was to meet at my house and this is what I had to deal with. Katrina Strand shows up playing a recorder she dug out of her treasure chest or something. View image She claims she is practicing for our airband(which is going on tour soon by the way, first stop Sea Otter, then Vigo, Ft. William, Willingen.......)but all she can play is hot cross buns with the ocassional squeal when she laughs into the instrument. Then Lisa Lefroy shows up in her boyfriends company truck with the siren on. She then steps out of the truck claiming that "Ive got everything under control". View image The truth of the matter is it was out of control. Later, between laps and while shuttling the truck, we found all sorts of props such as hard hats, safety glasses and a walky-talky to play with so we could pretend we were very important engineers.
We saw Kenny Smith and Conrad, our buddies, and rode with them and the doggs.
Oh yeah, and we ripped it up. Hope your all having fun out there.
