Crazy Roadtripping

For the past three weeks I was on the road and had some really good times!
My trip trip started in Willingen where the 3rd round of the World Cup took place. I did not race but it was fun to see all those crazy racemaniacs in action!
From Willingen on I roadtriped with my CUT Crew to Leogang. We rolled super sick spots in germany and got some sweet footage for the video.
Leogang was our next stop. All I can say it was a super dope contest and it definitely set a new level in Mountainbiking.The jumps were pretty big but the perfect size for Mountainbike. So it did not look stupid when we jumped with our "big" bikes.
The week right after Leogang was time for the adidas Slopestyle in Saalbach. The first big major Slopestyle event of the year. The course was pretty good because I have never seen so much different lines on one course. On the way down on the new slope in saalbach was enough stuff to go big and to do tech in one run. The weekend was pretty successful because I landed on the podium with a 3rd place. For more information and photos checked adidas-slopestyle.com!
After Saalbach everything was a little more chilled. Sunday after the slopestyle I went swimming with Strait, Zink, Ebbett, Goldman,Watts, Chase aso. I think some of us got more hurt in the waterslide than on the slopestyle course. We did big trains in the waterslide and alot of other stupid shit. No one we really cared about us. As Aaron would say: No rules in Europe!
The following the roadtrip continued to France for the Freeraid Festival in Les Deux Alpes. We found a super nice spot which looked like little Utah. Couple of natural drops, a sweet step up and a dirt quarter to rockwall. I took it pretty hard on a 360 drop crash so I could not ride for few days. It was not do bad because we had some issues with our RV. I think we stopped 5 or 6 times to get something fixed. Finally we left the RV in Lyon and drove we a privat car to Les Deux Alpes.
For those who cant imagine how this place in the french alpes is. Its the european Whistler. You have endlless trails, can ski on on the glacier in the summer, party everywhere or go shoppin. Pretty sweet place. We did some demos and on sunday we had a little contest. I won the contest and earned some pocketmoney!
Today I arrived in Berlin and I am stoked to be home.
