Canada
Posted by: Carlo
I can't believe that my 2 weeks canada trip is already over. I have seen so much, met alot of nice people and just had good times!
My plan was to stay a couple days in Vancouver and check out the city. I was supposed to stay at Harookz place but he was busy with work. But it wouldn t be Harookz if he hasn t an alternative plan. So I stayed for the first two nights in north Van with Ross Messures.
Thanks for your help and all the good food. Ross showed me the original deep cove bikeshop, some nice lakes and all kind of different things you should know. We played a 18 whole golfcourse just for fun. It seems to be very coment in Canada!? Ryder played the first time and bet me by 2 points. God damn that hurts!
The third day Harookz picked me up and he had pretty big loaded schedule for us. After 4 days with Harookz I would say I have seen a bit from Vancouver.
I try to upload some nuggets from the Van trip later!
After chillen some days in Van it was time to make my way up to Whistler. Oh yeah Whistler, the place to be for riding. I was so stoked to shred whistler and to play on the slopestyle. BUT I kind of twisted my knee and had to skip the slopstyle. Pretty sad cause John Cowan did a pretty amazing job. I still could do some downhill runs and still had my fun. Instead of riding all day I just took the nightlife a little more serious.
The contest was a big show and I am excited how much better the riding is every contest.
I dont wanne retell the whole thing but I gonne tell you the moves of the contest:
-Ryder Kasprick sending a super clean T-Whip of the last drop
-Cam McCauls stepdown flip and than barspin to tailwhip try! Killa!
-Ben Boykos 3 drop of the last drop. Cant be any better
After the contest the crankworx organiser had a very special surprise for all the rider. Everyone who was in the competition got a free ticket to watch DELA SOUL live. Oh my god, it was so much fun!
Thanks for that!!
Good times and see ya next year for sure.
Carlo
