tips&tricks #1
Posted by: Joscha
I love my Mountainbike. I like to ride gears and 26". Even when I was a young kid, I wanted to have gears and bigger wheels for my BMX...haha.!
I want to start with a little series of tips 'n tricks for less problems, more fun and an even more sexy look of your cool bike with gears.
Let's start with the cheapest and one of the most effective ways to make your bike looking cleaner. With a derailleur you have more cables on your bike, what can be a problem for tailwhips and barspins etc...and you don't want your bike looking like this (sorry Timo...;).
3 easy steps to solve this problem:
1. Cut your shifter-cable to the same length as your brake-hose
2. Buy this cheap but solid plastic cable guide, which you can get easily in an electronic-shop
3. Fix hose and cable with this guide...
...and finally you get a clean looking front! (yeah, I know I should check the setting of my stem...)
More top-secret blackbox tips coming soon!
