Hey mountain bikers,
So last weekend was jordie's comp here on the island....Guess what....it rained and got muddy!
Still everyone managed to ride and try and have fun in the wet weather. Overall everyone had fun..or as much fun as anyone could have in the mud.
RESULTS: 1st. Ben Boyko 2nd. Darren Berrecloth 3rd. Brandon S.
Never got a sea otter post in there...Since it got stuck on someone elses computer so ill rea do one:
Sea Otter......Weellllll Its sea otter Windy and crazy rain storms are expected and did happen. We arrived on a very clear sunny day...not alot of wind and the jumos looked soo crazy and good. Next day WIND! The roll into the jumps was like 35 feet tall with a 10 by 13 foot stepdown off it. So it made for some scary times in the jumps with gusts pushing you 5 feet to either side every run.
On the day of the finals it had rained the night before but the jumps stood up to the test and thanks to everyone would helped dig the mud out of the flat bottems....the jumps were rideable once again, and turned out to be a pretty neat comp.
