Champery

Guess what. It rained. Hard. Like, sideways. It was a mudfest and everyone was all over the place and then they put up nets to catch people but what ended up happening was the net would catch your bike and fling you to the next switchback down the hill then you would have to climb on all fours, slide back down, climb up again, slide back down, climb up again, grab your bike, untangle it from the net, not be able to untangle it, get 3 course marshals to untangle it for you, start riding again with twisted handlebars only to get hit by the next person getting flung by the same net you got sling shotted by. True story, it happened to me. But it was a sick track. If you've ever done mt seven psychosis, it was like the top section of that track, the whole way down. I loved it!!!! It wasnt impossible to ride, it was sick. I was riding good in practice but it was wetter on race day and I ended up having one of those crashes. I wanted to be one of the ones that stayed on. Damn. Off to go ride in more mud.
