crankworx
Posted by: Goldman
well crankworx is over and the lines are going to be short here the next couple of days. I hurt my back in boulder colorado the day after the crankworx there so i ended up sitting this one out. the course seemed pretty rough this year so not as much stuff happened. boyko killed it though for sure. i cant believe that paul is still alive and that he took another run was gnarly. i guided bobby McMullen all weekend on the hill. for those of you who dont know him he is the blind mountain biker. he had the time of his life up here in whistler. it was pretty amazing the trust that guy has in people. i took him off everything on crank it up. the box too. on heart of darkness we cleared this 15 foot table it was sick. he rode freight train with another guide. and we took him down a line a bunch. on dirt merchant I didnt know this one "smaller" drop was so big and I took him off of it. he cleaned it but I was super scared. Its pretty gnarly taking him down. if he offers to you, you should definitely try it. Its a totally different way to think about riding. every move you do you have to put into words, it wakes you think about your riding a lot more, and afterward you will know the trail a lot better I guarantee it. oh and here is the new paint job on the team dino compound ramps.
