Laguna Beach

Katrina Strand, Matti Lehikoinen and Brendan Fairclough are in town so we've been hanging out and riding a ton. One day we tripped over the hills to Laguna to check out the CrankBrothers office which is just a hop skip and a jump from the beach.
Jason First took us for some shuttle runs that start "on top of the world" and, well, end at the beach pretty much. Yes please! The trails were pretty awesome but after all the riding we've been doing lately, I have to admit, we were more interested in the beach.....so off we went. We immediately turned into little kids while exploring the tide pools. And then the incident happened.....Brendan fed the hermit crab to the sea anenome. Poor hermy. We were devastated and Brendan also felt sorry so we tried to save him but, alas, it was too late. The sea anenome got an unexpected snack and thats all there is to it. So we dodged some more barnacles, poked some more starfish and kept ourselves entertained till the sun went down. Bikes, burritos, sun, sand, friends. FUN.
