Maturity? yes and no...

So I hurt my ankle at the Madrid stop of the Qashqai. It has been bothering me ever since. Getting better, little by little, only to be set back by barely coming up short or landing a little low.
With a course that didn't make me smile once, London was the last straw.
I don't know if it is maturity, but I am over riding hurt. I decided to not ride the contest and let my ankle heal up.
It has not gotten any better in the last two weeks because I let it rest for a couple days, then have to ride the next contest. I am very pumped with my decision. My ankle is the best it has been since I hurt it. I am taking it easy either until the Teva Mountain Games, or this bitchin road trip that Aaron Chase is putting on.
So just when I think I am being responsible, I go and miss my flight home. The shuttle situation was horrible from the event, so it wasn't totally my fault, but I still blew it. Right now I am in a shitty hotel in Philly. I was supposed to be home Sunday night and I will not be home till tomorrow night (Wednesday.) Not only am I three days late getting home, while missing Memorial Day, the change fees cost around $800. Sucky!
Oh well, at least the rest of the season is filled with nothing but top notch Slopestyle courses!
