Top 10!
Posted by: Claire
I finally got my revenge at the World Cup here in Mont Saint Anne, Quebec. Every year till now I've either front flatted, cut my leg open to the bone, double flatted to seperated shoulder or just not put it together for a good enough run. But this past weekend it all came together for me and I got a solid 6th place. The track was a bit of a mud mission all practice with torrential rains-it felt like we were riding on poutine! But I felt good from my very first run with my new special Intense M6 frame with the first RockShox Vivid ever tested on an M6. Well, guess what, it works! Very well. My bike feels amazing.
The MSA track is known as one of the fastest, roughest, toughest tracks on the circuit-it's a man track for sure- and it dried up pretty good for race time, making the track even faster and scarier than ever. I continued to feel comforatable on my bike even at the high speeds, it was just doing a lot of the work for me- although, I did feel like I needed to take a nap about 3/4 of the way down ha!....and I've been sleeping for 3 days now.....so I guess I did work hard too! Off to Bromont tomorrow for round 5. Hope to keep riding well there.
